The Epic Games Store Epic Savings sale is live from June 18 to July 2, 2026, bringing discounts of up to 95% on Battlefield, Star Wars Jedi, Need for Speed, Titanfall 2 and more.

The Epic Games Store launched its latest “Epic Savings” sale on June 18, 2026, offering discounts of up to 95% on a wide selection of PC games. The promotion runs for 14 days and ends on July 2, making it the bridge event between the massive MEGA Sale (May 14 to June 11) and the upcoming Summer Sale expected in mid-July. If you missed the MEGA Sale, this is your second chance to grab quality titles at steep discounts.

When Does the Epic Savings Sale End?

The sale ends on July 2, 2026 at 11 AM ET / 4 PM BST / 5 PM CEST. According to Epic’s official 2026 Q2 Promotional Guide published on the Unreal Engine developer forums, this Epic Savings window was scheduled as a 14-day campaign from June 18 through July 2. After this, the next major event on Epic’s calendar is the Summer Sale, which historically kicks off in mid-July.

Standout Deals Worth Your Attention

The headlining discounts this time come from EA’s catalogue, with the Battlefield franchise seeing some of the steepest cuts. Several Star Wars titles, racing games and indie gems are also deeply discounted. Here is a curated list of the most notable offers:

Best Deals Under $5

The Battlefield franchise steal the show at this price point. Previous Epic Savings events have listed Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline at just $1.99 each in their premium editions, and this round continues the trend with 95% discounts across the series. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at 90% off also lands in budget-friendly territory. For co-op fans, Overcooked! 2 Gourmet Edition at 75% off is a strong pick for weekend sessions with friends.

Which Games Are Actually Worth Buying?

Titanfall 2: Ultimate Edition: Widely regarded as having one of the best single-player FPS campaigns ever made, Titanfall 2 at 85% off is borderline essential if you have not played it. The time-travel mission alone is worth the price of admission.

Dying Light Definitive Edition: This open-world zombie survival game combines parkour traversal with visceral melee combat and a tense day-night cycle. The Definitive Edition bundles every piece of DLC released for the game, making it outstanding value at 80% off.

STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order: Respawn Entertainment’s Soulslike take on Star Wars earned critical acclaim for its combat, exploration and story. At 90% off, it is one of the cheapest ways to experience a polished AAA Star Wars adventure on PC.

Star Wars Outlaws: Ubisoft’s open-world Star Wars game set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi is 70% off. It received mixed reviews at launch but has been significantly improved through post-launch patches, making this a reasonable entry point.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Deluxe: One of 2025’s most visually striking RPGs, built in Unreal Engine 5. The 20% discount is modest, but this is a newer title that rarely goes on sale at all.

How This Sale Compares to the MEGA Sale

The MEGA Sale that ended on June 11 was Epic’s largest event of the year, running for 28 days with over 2,500 games discounted up to 75%. Highlights from that sale included Hogwarts Legacy at 85% off, Red Dead Redemption 2 at 75% off, and Cyberpunk 2077 at 65% off. The current Epic Savings event is smaller in scope and focused more heavily on EA catalogue titles, Deluxe/Premium editions and mid-tier releases. If you were waiting for specific AAA blockbusters, you may need to hold out for the Summer Sale in July.

Free Games This Week on Epic

Alongside the sale, Epic Games Store continues its weekly free game giveaways. From June 18 to June 25, players can claim Citizen Sleeper (a dice-based narrative sci-fi RPG normally priced at $19.99) and Robobeat (a rhythm-based FPS at $19.99). The following week, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and Voidwrought will be the free offerings from June 25 to July 2. These free games must be added to your library during their availability window to keep them permanently.

What Sales Are Coming Next on Epic?

Based on Epic’s published promotional calendar for 2026, the key upcoming dates are:

• Summer Sale: Expected July 16 to July 30, 2026
• Epic Savings (August): Expected August 6 to August 20, 2026
• End of Summer Sale: Expected September 3 to September 17, 2026
• Halloween Sale: Expected October 19 to November 2, 2026
• Black Friday Sale: Expected November 17 to December 1, 2026
• Winter Sale: Expected December 10, 2026 to January 14, 2027

The Summer Sale will likely be the next major discount event with thousands of titles and potential coupon promotions. If this Epic Savings round does not have what you are looking for, July is not far off.

Growing Your Epic Games Library

Between weekly free game giveaways and regular sale events, Epic Games accounts can accumulate significant value over time. Since 2018, Epic has given away hundreds of games, and the 2026 lineup alone includes titles like Total War: Three Kingdoms, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, Bloons TD 6, and Botany Manor.

Things Players Often Want to Know

Do Epic Savings come with extra coupons? Unlike the MEGA Sale, which has historically offered bonus coupons or additional cashback, Epic Savings events are typically straightforward discount campaigns without supplementary coupon promotions. However, the Epic Rewards programme still applies, letting you earn up to 20% back on purchases.

Are these prices at their historical lows? For many of the EA titles listed at 90-95% off, yes. Battlefield V at 95% off and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at 90% off are at or near their all-time lowest prices across any PC storefront. Deal-tracking sites like GG.deals confirm that these deep discounts match or beat previous record lows.

Is the Epic Games Store available on mobile? The Epic Games Store is available on Android globally and on iOS (iPhone/iPad) exclusively in the European Union. Mobile discounts may differ from PC sale prices, so check both platforms if you have access.

Can I gift sale-priced games? Epic’s gifting functionality remains limited. In most cases, discounted games can only be purchased for your own account. Check the checkout page for any updated gifting options during the sale window.

The Epic Games Mega Sale 2026 launched on May 14 with discounts up to 85% on hundreds of titles, weekly mystery free games, Fortnite bonuses, and 20% Epic Rewards cashback. Here is everything worth knowing before the sale ends on June 11.

The Epic Games Store Mega Sale 2026 officially launched on May 14 and runs until June 11 at 4 PM UK time (5 PM CEST). The annual event features discounts of up to 85% across hundreds of AAA blockbusters and indie titles, weekly mystery free game giveaways, Fortnite bonus content on select purchases, and a boosted 20% Epic Rewards cashback rate. It is shaping up to be one of the biggest PC gaming sales events of the year.

How Long Does the Mega Sale Last?

The sale runs for approximately four weeks, from May 14 through June 11, 2026. During this period, new free games rotate every Thursday, discounts remain active across the store, and Epic Extras offer additional rewards such as cosmetic packs, in-game currency, XP boosts, and free trials. The event also extends to the Epic Games Store mobile platform.

What Are the Biggest Deals in the Mega Sale?

This year’s Mega Sale covers a massive range of titles across genres. Here are some of the most notable discounts based on confirmed reports from multiple sources:

Beyond AAA titles, the sale covers indie gems and older catalogue games with even steeper percentage cuts. Additional discounted titles confirmed across various reports include John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando (20% off), RIDE 6 (30% off), NORSE: Oath of Blood (25% off), and many more.

Which Free Games Are Available Right Now?

The first week of mystery free games was revealed on May 14. Players can claim two titles until May 21:

• Sunderfolk Standard Edition: A cooperative tactical RPG supporting 1 to 4 players. It features strategic combat, fantasy-themed adventures, online multiplayer, and local couch co-op with a unique smartphone-as-controller feature. Normally priced around $20.
• The Telltale Batman Shadows Edition: This package includes both Batman: The Telltale Series (2016) and its sequel Batman: The Enemy Within (2017), totalling all ten episodes across two seasons. It adds a noir-style Shadows Mode that overhauls the visual presentation. Normally priced around $21.

Combined, the two free games carry an approximate retail value of around $40. Once claimed, they stay permanently in your library. After May 21, a new pair of mystery free games will replace them. Epic typically rotates free titles every week throughout the Mega Sale period, so expect three more rounds of giveaways before the event ends.

What Are Epic Extras and Fortnite Bonuses?

Beyond straightforward discounts, Epic is running its “Epic Extras” programme during the sale. These include cosmetic packs, in-game currency top-ups, XP boosts, app trials, and exclusive digital bonuses tied to specific games. Two confirmed Fortnite tie-in rewards stand out:

• Purchasing Cyberpunk 2077 through the Epic Games Store grants the Adam Smasher Outfit in Fortnite.
• Purchasing Super Meat Boy 3D through the Epic Games Store grants the Super Meat Boy Sidekick in Fortnite.

Epic has confirmed that additional games in the sale will feature Fortnite-related rewards, though the full list has not been disclosed yet.

How Does Epic Rewards Work During the Sale?

Epic Rewards is a cashback loyalty programme that gives players a percentage back on every purchase made through Epic’s own payment system. The standard rate is 5%, but Epic has boosted it to 20% through at least August 31, 2026. This means a $50 purchase nets you $10 in Epic Rewards credit, which can be redeemed on future game purchases, add-ons, and gifts.

The gifting feature is also available during the Mega Sale. Players can send games and add-ons directly to friends, and the sender earns Epic Rewards on the transaction. This makes it a solid opportunity to buy gifts at discounted prices while stacking cashback.

How to Claim Free Games Step by Step

1. Open the Epic Games Store on PC, mobile, or through the official website.
2. Log into your Epic Games account (create one for free if you do not have one).
3. Navigate to the free games section or search for the current titles by name.
4. Click “Get” on each game’s store page.
5. Complete the checkout process. The price will display as free.
6. The games are now permanently in your library.

Remember to check back every Thursday during the sale for the next mystery game reveal. Setting a weekly reminder is a good idea since each batch is only available for seven days.

Five Deals Worth Prioritising

With hundreds of discounted titles, it helps to narrow the field. Here are five standout picks across different genres:

1. Hogwarts Legacy: Digital Deluxe Edition (85% off): The most comprehensive Harry Potter game experience at its deepest discount ever. If you have not explored Hogwarts yet, this is the time.
2. Cyberpunk 2077 (65% off): CD Projekt RED’s open-world RPG is in excellent shape post-updates, and the Fortnite Adam Smasher bonus sweetens the deal.
3. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition (80% off): Widely regarded as one of the greatest RPGs ever made. The Complete Edition includes both expansions.
4. Red Dead Redemption 2 (75% off): Rockstar’s narrative and open-world benchmark at a fraction of its usual price.
5. STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor (85% off): Respawn’s sequel improved on everything from Fallen Order, and 85% off makes it a no-brainer.

How Does This Compare to Other Epic Sales?

Epic runs multiple sales throughout the year, including a Spring Sale (typically late March to mid-April), smaller “Epic Savings” events, a Summer Sale (usually July), a Black Friday Sale, and a Winter/Holiday Sale (December to January). The Mega Sale is consistently the longest-running event of the first half of the year, spanning nearly a full month. It also tends to feature the weekly free mystery game format, which is not always present in smaller sales.

Historically, the Holiday Sale in December has offered the steepest absolute discounts and unlimited coupons, but the Mega Sale often matches those percentages on major titles while adding the free game excitement. Combined with the current 20% Epic Rewards boost, the effective value of Mega Sale purchases is arguably the best it has been.

Building Your Epic Games Library

Major sales like this one are the best time to grow your Epic Games library significantly. Between free weekly claims and deep discounts, an account’s total game value can increase substantially during a single Mega Sale cycle. For players who actively collect free games every week throughout the year, Epic Games accounts can accumulate hundreds of titles over time.

Things Players Often Wonder About

Do free games stay in my library after the sale ends?
Yes. Once you claim a free game during the offer window, it is permanently attached to your account. You do not lose access when the sale or giveaway period ends.

Can I use Epic Rewards on top of sale prices?
Yes. Epic Rewards credit can be applied to already-discounted games. At 20% cashback, this effectively adds another layer of savings to every purchase.

Is the Mega Sale available on mobile?
Yes. Epic confirmed that the Mega Sale runs on the Epic Games Store mobile platform during the same dates, including the discount offers.

Will there be more free games after May 21?
Yes. Epic rotates its mystery free games weekly throughout the Mega Sale. Expect new titles every Thursday until June 11.

Do Fortnite bonuses work with discounted purchases?
Yes. Purchasing Cyberpunk 2077 or Super Meat Boy 3D at sale price still qualifies you for the respective Fortnite bonus items.

The Epic Games Mega Sale 2026 delivers one of the strongest value propositions for PC gamers this spring. Between steep discounts, free weekly games worth claiming, Fortnite bonus content, and 20% Epic Rewards cashback, there is very little reason not to check what is on offer before June 11.
