Every Game Leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in June 2026

Five titles are leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium on June 16, 2026. Red Dead Redemption leads the departures just as RDR2 joins the catalog. Here’s the complete breakdown.

Five games are confirmed to leave the PS Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog on June 16, 2026. The departures were revealed through the “Last Chance to Play” section on the PlayStation Store, updated on May 19 alongside the May catalog additions. The biggest loss is Red Dead Redemption, which exits just as its sequel Red Dead Redemption 2 joins the service.

Full List of Games Leaving PS Plus in June 2026

The departure list was first spotted on the Japanese and Asian PS Store pages and is expected to apply across all regions. Here are the five games leaving the service:

  • Red Dead Redemption (PS5, PS4)
  • We Love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie (PS5, PS4)
  • LEGO The Incredibles (PS4)
  • Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition (PS4)
  • Lawn Mowing Simulator (PS5, PS4)

Sony sometimes adds more titles to the departure list without prior warning, so there could be additional removals before June 16. However, the core list has historically remained stable once published.

Why Is Red Dead Redemption Leaving?

Red Dead Redemption is the most notable departure of the month. Rockstar Games’ 2010 open-world Western was added to PS Plus Extra in December 2025 alongside its PS5 launch, which brought 60 FPS, HDR, and up to 4K resolution to the John Marston saga. After roughly six months on the service, Take-Two Interactive has pulled it from the catalog.

The timing is particularly interesting. Red Dead Redemption 2, widely considered one of the greatest games ever made, was added to PS Plus Extra on May 19, 2026. PlayStation Lifestyle reported that Take-Two’s decision to remove the first game coincided directly with the sequel’s arrival. If you have not finished John Marston’s story, you have until June 16 to do so through your subscription.

We Love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie: A Hidden Gem Worth Trying

Originally released in 2005, We Love Katamari was remastered by Bandai Namco and launched as REROLL+ Royal Reverie in June 2023. The remaster features completely redesigned graphics, an overhauled UI, five new “Royal Reverie” challenges where you play as the young King, and a selfie mode with a photo rally feature.

Rated E for Everyone, the game’s core mechanic involves rolling a katamari ball that grows larger as it picks up objects, from paperclips to entire buildings. It is available on both PS4 and PS5 and remains one of the most charming and family-friendly titles in the PS Plus catalog. With its departure approaching, this is one to try if you enjoy creative, relaxing gameplay.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: Retro Co-Op at Its Best

Published by Ubisoft, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition is a side-scrolling beat ’em up inspired by Bryan Lee O’Malley’s graphic novel series. The Complete Edition bundles all original DLC, including the Knives Chau and Wallace Wells character packs, plus online multiplayer that was added late in the original game’s life.

The game supports up to four players in both local and online co-op and features extra modes like Boss Rush, Dodge Ball, Battle Royale, and Survival Horror. With pixel art visuals and a chiptune soundtrack by Anamanaguchi, the roughly three-hour campaign delivers a concentrated burst of nostalgic fun. Only the PS4 version is available on PS Plus.

LEGO The Incredibles: A Family-Friendly Pick

Developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros., LEGO The Incredibles adapts both Pixar Incredibles films into LEGO-style action-adventure gameplay. It offers local co-op, making it a solid choice for parents gaming with younger children. Only the PS4 version is part of the PS Plus catalog, and it will be gone after June 16.

Lawn Mowing Simulator: Surprisingly Relaxing

Developed by Skyhook Games and published by Curve Digital, Lawn Mowing Simulator lets you mow lawns across the British countryside using licensed machines from Toro, SCAG, and STIGA. The game features Career Mode, where you build and manage your own lawn care business, Free Mode, and Challenge Mode. With 12 mowers in the base game and multiple attachments and upgrades, it offers a surprisingly deep simulation experience on both PS4 and PS5.

The Landmark Edition, which includes additional content, is also leaving. If you enjoy simulation games and have not given this one a try, it is worth a session before the deadline.

What Happens When a Game Leaves PS Plus Extra or Premium?

Games in the PS Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog work differently from the monthly Essential titles. Essential games are added permanently to your library as long as your subscription remains active. Catalog games, however, have an expiration date. Once a title leaves the catalog, your access is revoked immediately, even if you have it installed.

To continue playing any of these five games after June 16, you will need to purchase them from the PlayStation Store. Any DLC or add-on content you purchased for a catalog game also becomes inaccessible until you either buy the base game or it returns to the service.

PS Plus Essential Price Increase: What Changed on May 20

Sony confirmed a price increase for PS Plus Essential that took effect on May 20, 2026. Monthly subscriptions rose to $10.99 / €9.99 / £7.99, while three-month plans increased to $27.99 / €27.99 / £21.99. The 12-month option was not affected by this change.

The increase applies to new subscribers only. Existing members will not see the price change unless their subscription lapses or they modify their plan. Sony noted that Turkey and India are exceptions to this protection, meaning current subscribers in those regions may face the increase immediately. PS Plus Extra and Premium pricing remain unchanged for now, though Sony has not ruled out future adjustments.

What Was Added to PS Plus Extra and Premium in May 2026?

While five games depart in June, the May 2026 additions have been among the strongest of the year. The following titles joined the catalog on May 19:

  • Star Wars Outlaws (PS5)
  • Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4)
  • Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (PS5)
  • Bramble: The Mountain King (PS5, PS4)
  • Broken Sword: Shadows of the Templar Reforged (PS5, PS4)
  • The Thaumaturge (PS5)
  • Enotria: The Last Song (PS5)

PS Plus Premium also received the classic arcade shooter Time Crisis. The arrival of blockbuster titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Star Wars Outlaws makes May 2026 one of the best months the service has seen so far this year.

Should You Rush to Play These Before They Leave?

With roughly four weeks until the June 16 deadline, there is time to fit in at least a couple of these departing titles. Red Dead Redemption’s single-player campaign can take upward of 20 hours if you explore thoroughly, so starting soon is advisable. Scott Pilgrim and We Love Katamari are shorter experiences that can be completed in a few sittings, making them easy last-minute picks.

LEGO The Incredibles is best approached as a co-op experience, while Lawn Mowing Simulator is the kind of game you either love immediately or skip entirely. There is no guarantee any of these titles will return to PS Plus in the future, so if any of them are on your backlog, now is the time to act.
