Steam Medieval Fest 2026 ran from 20 April to 27 April 2026 and is over. Valve’s schedule, as GamingOnLinux reported on 15 January 2026, placed it between the Hidden Object Fest and the Deckbuilders Fest. During the fest Warhorse Studios raised $65,324 for the restoration of Pirkštejn Castle. On 26 October 2026 none of the 18 medieval games in the table below carries a discount on the Steam US store.
The Pirkštejn Castle donation
Pirkštejn Castle in Rataje nad Sázavou, Czechia, is the real castle that appears in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Deep Silver’s announcement said that, for every copy of the base game sold, 1 USD would go to the castle’s preservation from 20 to 26 April 2026, and that reconstruction was already under way, starting with the belfry roof. The follow-up post reports that the campaign raised $65,324. It does not give a copy count.
