Trove (PC) Pack

Buy Trove (PC) Packs & Credits

Trove is a free-to-play voxel-based action MMO developed by gamigo US Inc., running since its 2015 launch on Steam. With over 92,000 user reviews on Steam (76% positive among English-language reviews), 18 playable classes, and procedurally generated realms, it remains one of the most accessible sandbox MMOs on PC. While the base game costs nothing, Credit packs, Patron subscriptions, and DLC bundles unlock faster progression, exclusive items, and a significantly richer gameplay experience.

What Are Trove Credits and Why Do They Matter?

Credits are Trove's premium currency. They are used to purchase classes, mounts, costumes, companions, and limited-time store items. Credits are account-bound and cannot be traded directly. However, Credit Pouches (worth 250 Credits each) can be bought with real money and then sold to other players on the in-game Player Marketplace for Flux, Trove's tradeable currency.

There are a few ways to earn Credits without paying: reaching Mastery rank 31 and every 5 ranks thereafter up to rank 100 awards 100 Credits each time (up to 1,400 total), and having a community-created item accepted into the game awards 500 Credits per approved submission. For most players, though, purchasing a Credit pack is the fastest and most reliable path.

PC Credit Pack Tiers and Pricing

The official Trove store offers five Credit pack tiers for PC and Mac. Larger packs include bonus Credits and Radiant Sovereigns, which can be redeemed at Hub merchants for additional prizes. First-time buyers also receive a one-off 20% bonus on top of the listed Credit amount.

The cost per Credit drops noticeably with larger packs. The 750-Credit pack works out to about $0.0067 per Credit, while the 18,500-Credit pack brings it down to roughly $0.0054. If you plan to spend regularly, buying fewer large packs beats buying many small ones.

Patron Subscription: What You Actually Get

Patron status is the single most impactful premium upgrade in Trove. It touches nearly every part of the game loop. Here is what active Patron status provides:

• +50% Experience Gain: Level your classes significantly faster.
• +4 Chaos Factor: Four extra loot-filled Chaos Chests per day.
• 2x Magic Find: Double the chance of finding powerful, rare loot.
• 3x Daily Cubits: Earn 1,000 bonus Cubits per completed Star Bar.
• +100% Crafting Speed: Cut all crafting times in half.
• 2x Gem Box Karma: Guaranteed rare drops arrive twice as often.
• 2x Shadow Key Fragment Drops: Faster access to Shadow Tower resources.
• +100% Battle Factor & 2x Battle Box Drop Rate: More weekly Battle Boxes, earned faster.
• +33% Exalted Adventurine: Extra reward currency from each adventure.
• +5 Jump, +50 Lasermancy, +2 Flask Capacity

On PC, players can purchase a non-recurring 15-day Patron Pass in-game for 750 Credits. Recurring subscription options are available through the official Trove website in 1-month, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month tiers, with longer commitments reducing the monthly cost.

Which DLC Packs Are Worth Buying?

Trove's store rotates dozens of themed bundles alongside permanent packs. Each serves a different purpose. Here are the most relevant options for PC players:

Essentials Pack: Widely considered the best real-money value in the game. It can only be purchased once per account and provides a broad starter set of items, mounts, and resources that remain useful well into the mid-game.

Fast Fortune Pack: Contains 30 Gem Booster Boxes, 2 Empowered Gem Boxes, 2 Double XP Potions, 2 Radiant Sovereigns, and 20 Patron Points. It is aimed at players pushing Power Rank and is available through Steam.

Geodian Super Pack: Includes a Gold Companion Egg, 10,000 Credits, a Luckiest Reliquary, Accelerite, and Crystal Gathering Potions. Designed for players exploring Geode content.

Vanguardian Super Pack: Unlocks the Vanguardian class with 10,101 Credits, costumes, the Amperium Sentience Tome, mounts, and Neon City Terraformers.

Jump Starter Pack: A lighter bundle with essential early-game items and boosts for players who want a head start without a large investment.

Seasonal store packs rotate regularly and often offer strong mastery-per-Credit ratios. Community resource Trovesaurus maintains a sortable list of every pack ranked by mastery value per Credit spent, which is a useful reference before buying limited-time offers.

Getting Credits Without Spending Cash: Credit Pouches

Credit Pouches are the bridge between free-to-play and premium content. Each pouch grants 250 Credits and can be traded on the Player Marketplace for Flux. On PC, Credit Pouch prices in Flux fluctuate based on demand: during major events, Dragon weekly deals, or new Curiosity Store rotations, pouch prices spike. During quiet periods between events, prices tend to drop.

A key marketplace requirement was introduced in December 2025: new accounts must reach Mastery level 20 and make at least one real-money purchase worth $5 USD or more from the in-game store to unlock Marketplace, Trade Post, and Club Chest access. Accounts that played between 2021 and December 2025 are exempt from the purchase requirement. Nintendo Switch players only need to reach Mastery 20.

How to Time Your Purchases for Maximum Value

gamigo runs regular discount events throughout the year. During the 2025 Super Summer Sale, Credit packs and popular DLC bundles were discounted by up to 75% across all platforms. Special promotional events like the Golden Dragon Effigy offer bonus items when purchasing packs of 8,500 Credits or more.

To get the most value from your spending:

• Check the official Trove website and Steam store regularly for active promotions.
• Time large Credit purchases to coincide with seasonal sales (summer, winter, holiday events).
• Use your first-time purchase bonus on the biggest pack you can afford.
• If buying Credit Pouches with Flux, avoid event weeks when demand drives prices up.
• Watch the Trove shop offers page for limited-time bundles with strong mastery or Credit value.

Buying Trove Packs Through Steam

Trove is available as a free download on Steam (App ID 304050). All Credit packs and DLC bundles can be purchased directly through the Steam store using your Steam Wallet balance. If you need to top up your wallet, you can purchase Steam EUR Wallet Codes from GamerMarkt for fast and secure delivery, then use that balance to buy any Trove pack on Steam.

The process is straightforward:

1. Log in to your Steam account.
2. Add funds to your Steam Wallet (or redeem a wallet code).
3. Navigate to the Trove store page or browse DLC from the game's Steam page.
4. Select the Credit pack or bundle you want and complete the purchase.
5. The content is applied to your account instantly.

Choosing the Right Pack for Your Stage of Play

The best pack depends on where you are in the game and what you want to achieve:

Brand new player: Start with the Essentials Pack (one-time purchase, best overall value) and consider a 15-day Patron Pass to accelerate your early levelling across multiple classes.

Mid-game grind: Focus on a 3,250 or 5,000 Credit pack to unlock classes and purchase key store items. The Fast Fortune Pack is excellent for boosting Power Rank through gems.

Veteran collector: Larger Credit packs (8,500 or 18,500) offer the best per-Credit rate and often qualify for bonus event rewards like the Golden Dragon Effigy. Use Trovesaurus to compare seasonal pack mastery values before buying.

Patron strategy: If you play daily, a 3-month or longer Patron subscription lowers the effective monthly cost. Casual players benefit more from a non-recurring 15-day pass purchased with in-game Credits or Flux-bought Credit Pouches.
