By applying any of the following steps that suit your situation, you can increase your LoL account’s value:

• Consider Changing Your Account’s Server

  Each server differs in RP prices and active player counts, you might consider transferring to more active servers where RP costs are higher—such as EU West (EUW) or North America (NA). (If your account is already on EUW or NA, you can skip this step) This way, the 2600 RP you spend to transfer your account can be recouped as added value. Also, because these servers have higher RP costs, having a large RP balance left on your account after transfer can be an appealing advantage for buyers. You can purchase the necessary Riot Points for a server transfer via GamerMarkt LoL Riot Points (RP).

• Unlock All Available Skins and Champions in Your Loot (Crafting)

  If you have skins or champions ready to unlock, consider using your Orange Essence or other resources starting with the cheapest ones first. By increasing your total number of unlocked champions and skins, you can enhance your account’s overall value.

• Remove Phone Verification

  Removing the phone verification from your League of Legends account eliminates a common concern for buyers who worry they won’t be able to verify their own phone number on the purchased account. This way, you won’t deter potential buyers who might otherwise hesitate to purchase.

• Do Not Use Your Free Riot ID Change Yet

  When negotiating with potential buyers in GamerMarkt’s chat rooms, pointing out that the account’s in‐game name can be changed immediately often serves as an extra incentive for them to finalize the purchase.

• Pay Attention to Your Honor Level

  Accounts with locked honor levels can cause buyers to worry that “one more violation could result in a permanent ban.” Most buyers aren’t willing to take that risk and tend to avoid accounts with restricted honor levels.

• If Your Current Rank Is Unranked + Your Previous Season Rank Was Gold, Platinum, Emerald, or Diamond, you can duo‐queue for your placement matches to secure a higher rank for the new season. This higher rank will add more value to your account when you sell it.

• If Your Current Rank Is Unranked + Your Previous Season Rank Was Bronze or Iron, you can play your placement matches solo, without trying too hard—maybe even testing out new champions. Why? Iron‐tier accounts often sell for higher prices than you’d think, as “Iron 4” (also humorously called “wood elo”) has a very low average skill level. Even a slightly experienced player can easily dominate matches while enjoying there.

• If Your Current Rank Is Unranked + Your Previous Season Rank Was Master, GrandMaster, or Challenger, sometimes not playing any placement matches is the smarter move. Due to the matchmaking system for new seasons, even if you win all your placement matches, you won’t be placed directly back into your former top‐tier rank (e.g., Challenger).

  However, if you’re confident you can climb back to Master/GrandMaster/Challenger quickly, you may choose to play your placements. Just keep in mind that early in the season, matchmaking can be quite mixed (high‐ and mid‐level players often end up in the same games), which could negatively impact your MMR (Match Making Rating) if you have bad luck during placements and after.

The higher your account’s current value, the greater the profit you can make by transferring it to a different server. Below are two examples illustrating how server transfers can affect an account’s price:

• Example 1

  An account worth €50 could see a 50% (i.e., €25) increase in value by changing servers. However, you’ll need to purchase around 2600 RP (approximately €25) to do the transfer. In this scenario, your extra earnings roughly equal your cost in RP, which doesn’t yield a significant net profit.

• Example 2

  An account worth €250 could see a 50% (i.e., €125) increase in value from changing servers, reaching a total of €375. Even after subtracting the 2600 RP (around €25) needed for the transfer, you’d still earn about €100 in additional profit.
