Karma Koin was the former brand name for the same prepaid card. In 2022, Nexon rebranded Karma Koin to Nexon Game Card. There is no functional difference between the two: both deliver NX Cash and work across the same games. If you still hold an unredeemed Karma Koin card, it remains fully valid. These cards do not expire, so you can redeem them at any time.
Nexon's checkout system ties NX redemption values to the billing country registered on your account, not purely to the currency on the card itself. The West/Global region supports four currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, and RUB. If you buy a USD card but your account is registered in a GBP country, the card is converted to GBP before calculating NX. For example, a $10 USD card for a UK account converts approximately $9.77 into a £7 GBP equivalent, yielding around 8,050 NX at the standard rate of 1 GBP = 1,150 NX.
Any unconverted remainder (such as $0.23 in the example above) stays on your card and can be combined with another card later. This means you never lose balance due to conversion rounding.
